nars liquid butterfly — VFX Concept

The Concept

We took the NARS Orgasm Lip Gloss — one of beauty's most iconic products  and asked what lives inside it. The answer: a liquid butterfly, melting into existence through animation and VFX. Surreal, sensorial, and completely hypnotic.

The Approach

The product stays recognisable. The world around it doesn't. We wanted to capture the feeling of a gloss like Orgasm,  the warmth, the shimmer, the transformation and make it visible. A butterfly dissolving into liquid felt like the only honest answer.

The Execution

Concept, animation and VFX developed entirely in-house.  The kind of content that stops a scroll and makes a formula feel like an experience.
